And herein lies the difference

When I'm working on my book and get to a really hard bit, when there are tears and cries involved, my old girl Pep will suddenly appear by my side. At the really hard bits, I even get a paw placed inside my hand. She is totally incredible. Reads my emotions as if they're her own.

So because I am currently listening to various voice files and sifting through which ones to turf, tucking into oh, just the tastiest, thickest-icing-est apple cake I've had in some time while I work, Jazz's nose appears up under my arm. At first I thought 'Oh look, Jazzy's getting better at knowing when she hears a different tone in my voice."

But no. She wants some food. I love her ... optimism.
