Save Ferris

Watching the news last night. About the new ferris wheel going up in Docklands.

Me: A ferris wheel?! COOL! Can we go on it?
He: Yeah, did you see this? It looks amazing. Views to Geelong across the bay.
Me: That's.... *sombre all of a sudden* That's a pretty long way.
He: It's going to be huge. Thirty storeys high.
Me: *scattered* I don't like heights. But I like ferris wheels.
He: *pausing image on screen* See? Thirty storeys. See that building in the background just behind it, that'd be four, maybe five storeys.
Me: Geez *squinting*
He: That's enormous!
Me: *stares hard at screen* Gee, wow the actual wheel is pretty small. How... how do you even get up there? Is there a lift up inside one of the poles?
He: *looking at me, back at screen, back at me* That's the spokes of the inside frame of the wheel, Lenny. They haven't finished building it yet.
Me: Oh.
He: *imitating someone getting very sick rotating around a couple of metres' radius* Whoa! Whoa! WHOAA!
